Different types of aerobic exercise
Aerobics is one of the most popular types of exercises on the market. His use of music, dance, installations and other facilities have contributed to its popularity. The exercises are aerobics workouts who intend to increase heart rate during a period of time. This may cause the body to consume more oxygen which would result in better blood circulation, weight loss, the faster burning of calories and fat.
Other physical activities may also be considered aerobic workouts such as swimming, running, walking, jogging and biking. Aerobic exercise will start by 5 to 10 minutes of warm-up stretches and exercises. After warming up, follow the right routine, lasting for about 20 to 30 minutes. The last part of the workout will be the process of cooling down.
There are different types of exercises Aerobics for different levels of individuals. Skills, health and comfort are things to consider when choosing this type of exercise Aerobic would be consistent with the needs of the individual and his abilities. Some of these types are:
• Low-impact aerobics
As its name suggests, low-impact exercise does not include activities that may harm the bones and joints such as jumping and bouncing. Exercises done had a lower intensity, thereby reducing the risk of injury and overuse leg. In this exercise, one or two feet should always be in contact with the ground.
With low-impact routine you do not start with a good grade. A person may begin to perform the exercises on a slower pace and increase the intensity gradually. Low-impact aerobics is ideal for the elderly, obese and overweight people and, of course, women pregnant.
• High-impact aerobics
Aerobic exercises use high-impact movements. It could include jumping, turning, mixing, dubbing, etc. This kind of workout plans to expand the abdomen, calf, and also the cardiovascular system. If an individual is agile and active prior to developing and high-impact aerobics may be the best option. But for beginners, slower and low-impact exercise is recommended first. When the person is already comfortable with this level of low impact, it would be prudent to proceed the second level. Keep in mind that the discretion of the physician is always important.
• Step Aerobics
Step aerobic step benches used for training. This type of aerobics is really low impact. There are studies showing that the step may help a person to reduce weight, given the fact that its impact is only half the impact used when cycling at home. Overall, this process or exercise is dedicated to developing the lower body.
• Aerobics kickboxing
It is also known as cardio boxing. This is one of the workouts more effective for losing weight. Well that aerobic kickboxing is tiring, its effects on the body are great. It could certainly help to build more energy and more endurance. It is also called cardioboxing and can burn about 800 calories an hour.
• Water aerobics
Another low-impact exercise, but gives results enormous, both for weight loss or improve overall health. Aerobics, experts say, burns calories more rapidly compared Land exercises due to the resistance of water.
