exercise facts for children

How do I train my Boxer puppy to stop biting my children?
I have 3 children and a beautiful four months. old boxer puppy. It is the dog our dreams except that it is constantly jump, mouth, and growling at my children. It really seems essential in the middle of my child (8 years). I think he is just trying to play with them, but I know how dangerous it is to let this problem continue. It stops when I command, but does not include my wife and children when they try to fix it. I tried it hoping that the exercise of discipline it would deplete some of his energies, but in vain. Suggestions?
If the bite say no pick a firm voice and put it in an area that is an isolated room boring. That will teach him if he bites Playtime Is Over for him

Food Facts for Teenagers $29.95 This book has information that helps fill the gap between modern food technology and nutrition, and the use of this knowledge by teenagers. Boys and girls are very much aware of the wonders of present-day technology. They want accurate scientific information to help them in various space-age ventures. Many know that vital nutrients in the foods they eat affect their appearance, strength, endurance and resistance to disease. Many do not know that foods affect their personalities, mental performance and the health of their future children. Teenage girls often have not been told that those who are poorly nourished during the teen years will have babies with more congenital abnormalities, lower pediatric ratings, and more stillborn and premature births than girls who are well-fed regardless of how carefully they eat during pregnancy. They will have more complications before, during and after pregnancy. The field of nutrition and food chemistry has become so complex that it is difficult for teenagers to take advantage of information now available. Many popular beliefs about foods are based on superstitions rather than scientific truths and many are too complicated to be useful. In this book only the most important food facts are presented. Simple, quick methods for calculating vitamin, mineral and calorie content of foods are described. Suggestions for economical eating are given, as well as inexpensive low calorie recipes. Medical checkups by a physician rather than self-medication are stressed. Since a student’s physical appearance and his or her performance in sports and school work are affected by food intake over long periods of time, the prime goal of this book is to encourage consistently good food habits. |

Nutrition for Children $11.18 How nice it would be to find a book about children’s nutrition that was written for parents by a parent. Such a book would be straightforward, easy to understand, and would not be full of obscure facts and statistics. Written by a father and nutritionist with over five years experience giving lectures on nutrition and health promotion to parents and children of all ages, this is such a book. There is no claim for it to be the most comprehensive ‘text’ on nutrition, but it is written for parents and carers of children who are truly concerned about their health. |

Our Children's Children $10.9 An adventure of the near future - brought on by a catastrophe in the far future. On a summer's day like any other, holes appeared in the air and people from nowhere walked through them into our world. They came, and they kept coming, until they numbered in the millions. They said they came from the future - they were our children's children. They said there was trouble "up there".They knew they were a terrible burden on our economy, and all, but - well, we couldn't just let them starve, could we? Then more facts became apparent. The "holes in the air" were time tunnels, one-way tunnels from the future. The trouble up there was in the form of alien creatures - ravening beasts with teeth, claws, and tentacles, that reproduced like bacteria and were intelligent. They were utterly uncontrollable and so our children's children fled through the time tunnels, which, they claimed, were securely guarded. The beasts, whatever or whoever they were, couldn't get through. So they claimed. But then somebody up there slipped and the beasts were abroad. |
