exercise heart rate too high

heart rate elevated long after exercise in the night.?
Wondering if anyone out there experiences as well. I exercise daily on a treadmill, mostly on foot and lively, brisk walking pace. My heart rate gets up really easy. Only problem is it does not seem to slow down to a normal level, even long after the exercise is completed. I also noticed my diastolic bp is still high, mostly in the 90s. I had an EKG, echo and all kinds of blood tests. Everything comes back neg. I had problems with anxiety in the past, which is the main reason I exercise, but sometimes it seems I do more harm than good. Any input or advice?
Hello! Yes, I am an anxious person too. I suffered a rapid heartbeat, especially night, and also clunks in my chest that beats were ignored. All my tests came back fine too. I'm waiting for a 24-hour ECG test follow because these things are hard to come back. It took me 10 years to convince myself and my doctor that something is wrong, more than the "stress" they diagnose. It always aggravates during the times I was most active (I used to fast walking 10 miles a day). Exercise does not affect, it is good but rest is very important too. I started taking beta-blockers while waiting for my appointment cardiology. I must say now that I take these, I realize how much my heart was bad before. You should be aware of your heart beating break, after climbing stairs, standing for any length of time fixing. Now I'm really trying hard to feel my heart beat and sometimes I LOL even check because I do not feel it at all! These beta-blockers slow your heart rate down and lower blood pressure, and not to relax. In fact, they'll totally unbalanced which is fustrating but it's better than cardiac symptoms. How fast is fast? Mine used to mount to hundreds and I panic and it was terrible, terrible. But apparently it is not dangerous. If you're too attentive to your heartbeat, and beta-blockers are not the answer. But if your life is suffering because of your symptoms, then they may be the answer. It took me 10 years before a doctor finally prescribed these! Yes, I wonder if its something like disease with Wolff-Parkinson-White. It is very common, often hereditary and is not causing too many problems, not even a challenge for most people! The beta blockers help, but even the lowest dose that makes me so lethargic, that's ridiculous. I Mom had a great lazy! LOL I only work as long as I do not drive, and we have 4 children. Our twins go to daycare 2 miles so it's a journey 2 x4 mile (round trip, round trip), and then I go to the activities of my youngest son, so that's how it clocks up to 10 miles walking very fast / jogging. But I do not expect that I could do 10 minutes on a machine running! Well it seems that beta-blockers may be worth trying. They certainly should not hurt you if your blood pressure is not too low on them, you do not have asthma or taking certain medications. It really depends on how severe your symptoms are from day to day. Mine were so bad that I could not move Sometimes, I felt weak and even Ambulances had dizziness for pain and very severe.
