What is the chance to be permanently based overseas in the military?

I'm about to join the Armed forces and am not sure which one yet joined, but what I wonder is I know you get the choice of where you Want to duty after basic training, but what is the chance to get it? I do not mind being away from home etc, but I would not be a stranger unless the exercise. I'm looking to the RAF Regiment and Combat medic in the army. What I mean is up to you where you want to be based upon completion of training, but could the Army to say "well we're sorry but we want you to Cyprus for 3 years. "Im from the United Kingdom through.

yeah the army to do three laps year abroad, Cyprus could be one, another German, to be honest I do not rip off arms if you were offered a tour abroad I know I would. They are less get one while your young, do not look back and regret. I would like the chance.
