In recent years, North America declined in the year. This includes children and adults. It seems that the good old days of hockey street, soccer and even tag the schoolyard has taken a back seat to video games, SMS and YouTube. The youth of today, more and more Race school and stay inside for their electronic fix.

I'm not an old man but growing in the 80s, it was common to come home from school, drop my backpack, take my hockey stick and head out to play a game pickup. It was not something reserved just for me or for a child's hockey. Football in the park, baseball diamond that also have a local and common part of everyday life for the average child like me.

Now if you look outside on a given day, you are more likely to see tumbleweeds blow by the children enjoying the fresh air. Now, this does not mean that every child in North America has locked up inside, but there are lots of them.

Daily exercise for children is important for them to start good habits and healthy. Including an exercise program in a child's daily life routines encourages a lifestyle that will help them gain confidence, strength and interaction social video games can not do. Not only physical activity beneficial for health, but it also produces endorphins that help with mood of the child and the stress level. With the pressure of school and social groups, these elements are important in the child's social development and confidence in themselves.

One of the problems with the decreased activity of children and their parents that exercise is also very busy and preoccupied with their work and technology. Many households have two working parents and their lives are too "Stop and Go". This mode of Life often leaves less time for family and put more emphasis on work resulting from the motivation of parents to keep children under style active living. When I was young, I often spent at least a few nights a week playing catch with my father or having a snowball fight good old days. It was a great activity for father and son who was the norm in those days.

With the decline in physical activity among children in recent years is not a reason to give up hope on the youth of today. Many people start to see that with education and resources for children, bring them on track and in a regular active lifestyle is not so far off scope. With more places such as indoor playgrounds, sports facilities and even activities that can be done at home, young today can still be healthy adults of tomorrow.
