Could my horse play with this exercise ball?

I have quiet a large exercise ball at home and was wondering if i could bring it to the stables to let my horse play with it... He gets quiet bored duriong the day, so i thopught it might be a good thing.

Is it an inflatable one? I'd worry that if he popped it he'd freak out and panic, especially if he's in a stable. Also, could he chew off bits and swallow some? Make a hole in a swede and hang it up - that'll keep him entertained. If he's on straw you could just chuck a swede on the floor (not with shavings as he could eat them whilst rummaging). Or invest in a proper horse ball. Just to be on the safe side.
