Thick bar training for wrestling grip strength

The importance of a strong grip for wrestlers can not be underestimated. If a wrestler can not control their opponent because they have low resistance to traction, they really need to go to work on strengthening this weakness. The off season is the time to really focus on getting stronger, when the competition begins is the time to cut back. Twice a week should be sufficient to make an improvment in your forearm strength.
