Saw the exercise equipment anyone with games on them?

I used to be a member of a gym in Sydney that were rowing machines with little monitors on them. When you used the machine, it has become a kind of game where you would a picture of a guy and rowing faster you go the faster it went. You can also race against a computer component or by a shark or chassed rowing some other games .. The graphics where really gross, think Spectrum / Commodore 64 level, but it really made the exercise much more fun. I never seen it since. Has anyone used these other machines? Do they exercise bike / carpet equivalent? Alternatively there equipment of exercise you can connect your PlayStation or Xbox you?

I have used this exact piece of equipment in the UK at the gym first time I ever joined. He is rowing a lot of fun, even if they had not turned the volume down when I used it. Very annoying when the jaws theme tune kicked in. I saw something similar with bikes where you have a very rough image you on the bike, then someone else on the other bikes you can choose to race. You choose a track and a two-time etc etc and go. Rather well done and you can have eight races at a time. No sharks though! I saw a bicycle for children and links to the Xbox and there is another one who comes to the called motivatrix appears to be oriented games. I have attached a link to a review of it below.
